Do you know a dedicated scientist in the early stages of their career who could be a future science star? Do they make a difference to the scientific and wider community?
The 2022 BioTechniques Future Star Award is open to candidates within the first 5 years of their first career appointment who are performing outstanding research in their field. Nominees should be talented researchers, active members of the scientific community, and be driven to make a difference with their research.
The Award aims to recognize these inspiring new scientists by asking their colleagues and mentors to nominate them, with the finalists selected by a panel of esteemed judges. The winner will be chosen by public vote. The Future Star Award recipient will:
- Receive US $1000 to support their career
- Feature on one of our Talking Techniques podcast episodes
- Be invited to join our LEARN Mentor panel
If you know an early career scientist who is a Future Star, become a member and nominate them via the link below.
